So Bog had contractions on and off for about 12 hours at home (right, Bog?), and on the evening of the 2nd, they finally were strong and regular enough that they went in to the hospital and luckily they let them stay. She was dilated to a 3 at that point so they started a little pitocin to get things moving. She got the epidural which finally gave her relief from feeling exhausted from hours of contractions, and it was smooth sailing from there. She and Dave were able to get some sleep for a few hours until they woke her up to say it was time to start pushing! Due to her extraordinary skills, she only had to push for 20 minutes and out came their beautiful little girl at 3:51 a.m. So overall, the labor and delivery went really well. Tessa was 7 lbs 8 oz, and 20.5 inches long. She is a sweet little angel and loves cuddling her Mama. She has already done great at nursing - hopefully she will keep it up! Dave is as proud as they come, and wants to hold his little girl every second, and Bog is already equipped with the natural, tender, maternal skills needed to care for her little babe. They love her to pieces. Here are some pictures for our families, and Bog promises to post pictures on a regular basis :)

She has LOTS of thick hair in back, and some on top as well. While we all know Becca will have so much fun with her hair one day, right now she is just enjoying her as she is, sweet and innocent without all the frill. Precious.
Doting Grandfather.
Becca and Dave have pointed out that she has the "Lee" lines on her cheeks under her eyes.
She has a lot of chub in her cheeks and chin, but the rest of her is tiny.
Pure joy.
Dave was happy to bring this little bunny for his girl to snuggle.

Yay, yay, yay! Thanks for posting all the pictures Abby! Becca knows I love pictures, and I have been DYING to see some :) She's adorable, Becca and Dave! So weird to see you with a baby! haha. Can't wait for our little girls to be best buds :) It's destiny!
